Fully funded by the Library foundation, 1000 Books before Kindergarten is a program which encourages the development of reading skills that will prepare your pre-k student for kindergarten. Participants will keep a log of how many books they have read and receive prizes when they have reached milestones.  Books read during story time, daycare, or by others to your child can be counted in the log . You can pick up a reading log at any Prince William County library, or download a copy of the reading log at the following link.
